Hey! I am pregnant!

It was April 2011 when one of the most important event of my life happened. I was going to become a mother soon. I had been married for more than six years, traveled with my husband to beautiful destinations, enjoyed my life with my better half, cared for my dogs, made new friends, decorated my home and now it was time for the next step - become a parent. I was thrilled with the news. Couldn't wait to know if it was a boy or a girl. I wanted the nursery to be perfect. I started writing my pregnancy journal. Also read some pregnancy books. Belly Laughs is my favorite. This book is hilarious. I suggest every pregnant woman should read this book as your journey will become even more joyful and lovely. Share your experience with your husband and friends. Smile, laugh and stay calm as you will be helping your baby grow healthier by giving all the positive vibes from you.

This is what I did during my pregnancy (also at times when things weren't going quite right) -
  1. I watched comedy movies :)
  2. I spent time with my lovely dogs
  3. I went for window shopping
  4. Spent time with my friends
  5. Read Hollywood gossip on internet :)
  6. Bought new shoes!
  7. Ate my favorite meals
  8. Scribbled my thoughts in my pregnancy journal
  9. Spent time with my baby - kept looking at my baby's sonography pictures and thought about my future with him. Yes! After 5 months of wait I came to know it's a boy.
  10. Decorated the nursery
  11. Read tons of reviews on baby items - cumbersome job!
  12. Took long showers with some candles and music to relax myself (wine was off limit)
  13. Got mani-pedi done
  14. Went for drives
  15. Went for long walks which I should have done more
  16. At times even yelled at my husband to get things out of my system and I don't regret that - I was pregnant :)
Those nine months were pleasurable for me. I had some physical discomforts but at the same time I thoroughly enjoyed my pregnancy. So should every woman. This is the most beautiful and intimate journey of a woman's life and one MUST make every effort to make it special and delightful. Enjoy pregnancy!
